Sometimes pet parents need a convenient option to feeding raw to their dog. This month’s free NRC recipe is focused on providing a balanced raw recipe using raw ingredients accessible in local grocery stores and Dr. Harvey’s Raw Vibrance dehydrated vegetable mix. This recipe is ideal for daily feeding for convenience or when traveling.
The recipe is made balanced as is and ingredient substitutions will affect nutritional balance. This recipe is made to be fed as is without ingredient substitutions a healthy adult dog. Be sure to use basic food handling and safety practices when preparing raw food.

However, this recipe can easily be scaled to create one large batch recipe which provides the convenience of scoop and feed without having to spend too much time doing meal prep. When increasing the recipe, be sure to increase all ingredients evenly to maintain the nutritional balance.
Batch Prep Instructions
In order to have a quick and productive batch recipe prep, the following directions will assist in maintaining efficiency:
Weigh out each ingredient needed to complete the batch recipe.
Hydrate Raw Vibrance Mix
Heat water or bone broth to rehydrate Dr. Harvey’s Raw Vibrance. Combine the dry scoops of Raw Vibrance with the heated liquid, mix thoroughly, and set to the side to rehydrate.
Add 1 to 2 tbsp of water or broth in a glass. Place manganese, magnesium, and kelp supplement in the liquid to dissolve.
Blend Whole Foods
Place the beef kidney, tinned sardines, oysters, eggs, and dissolved supplements in a blender. Blend on high until thoroughly blended and mixed together.
Mix the ground beef, blended raw mixture, and rehydrated Dr. Harvey’s Raw Vibrance together thoroughly.
Store & Freeze
Store all excess in a freezer to prevent spoilage.

Calculate Daily Intake
