Since Nina only eats about 1 pound per day, this method saves me tons of freezer space. This meal prep contains beef chuck, ground beef, duck heads, duck wings, pork heart, beef heart, lamb heart, beef spleen, pork liver, and beef liver. Not every meal contains all of these proteins. • I haven’t fed lamb in a long time. I’m excited to add another red meat to the mix. Variety is essential when feeding a raw diet. Feeding a variety of proteins is important because each animal will contribute varying level of nutrients to your dog’s diet. Also, I believe that variety is extremely enriching.
